S.T.E.M. Program at BGC Crestline
Our S.T.E.M. curriculum was developed to assist children in discovering how and why things work in an engaging and fun way, as well as to instill in them a lifetime love of learning and exploration.
They collaborate with their peers through realistic, hands-on activities, designing, building, experimenting, and coming up with original solutions to challenges. With every new task, we witness their proficiency and self-assurance increasing. Robot hands, magnet mazes, paper helicopters, basic wheels, brick lab builds, popsicle stick catapults, calculator games, and domino runs are just a few of our previous creations. There are endless possibilities.
We think that children should be equipped for life in an increasingly technologically driven world.
We hope to spark their curiosity and possibly inspire them to become the scientists, technicians, engineers, and mathematicians of the future by making S.T.E.M. entertaining.

I’ve worked with the organization since 2012.
I began working under the career institute and was hired shortly after as a program aid then program lead and now Unit Director. Working with kids is such a fulfilling and humbling experience.
