We begin each day after school with Project Learn. One hour is dedicated to time for members to do their homework with tutoring assistance from trained staff. We also have a Virtues Program where members have a weekly lesson on the value of high morals and good behavior; a Diversity Program showing that each individual is unique through our differences; Triple Play which teaches healthy lifestyle choices; Smart Moves, a program that talks about safe habits and making good decisions; Money Matters teaching members age-appropriate common sense with managing money; All Stars, demonstrating athletic fundamentals whilst building leadership skills; and Youth Arts which includes dance, drama, art and music. Aside from our core programs, we never want to leave out the most important thing—FUN!
In addition, we offer a weekly Skill Streaming class which teaches prosocial skills and is led by a team from Mountain Counseling, and a Reading Program with volunteers from the Lake Arrowhead Sunrise Rotary Club. We serve children ages K -17 who are from culturally and economically diverse backgrounds. Members are from families seeking a safe, positive, caring and supervised place for their children to go after school. early. Over 160
children are enrolled in our programs, with an average of 80+ kids attending daily.
Our Crestline Club offers an afterschool program, Summer and a morning program, which greatly benefits families who work off the mountain and need to get going early.
Our Lake Arrowhead Club offers an after school program and a STEM program which meets every Monday at 4:30 pm during the regular school year. Please note the Lake Arrowhead Unit is closed this Summer. Check back with us next year to see if we will be open for next Summer.
